Running DataSynapse GridServer® Director as Windows NT Service with the Adapter

To start DataSynapse GridServer® Director as Windows NT service with the adapter and to use AWS_AUTH_PROFILE property in cloudprovider.properties file, perform the following steps so that the adapter can run smoothly over DataSynapse GridServer® Director:
Prerequisites
Ensure that you have installed DataSynapse HPCCA as described at Installing the Adapter.
Procedure
  1. Stop the Windows NT service for DataSynapse GridServer®.
    ..\datasynapse\manager\service.bat stop
  2. Create a new environment variable on the system. Syntax: AWS_CREDENTIAL_PROFILES_FILE= PATH_TO_AWS_CREDENTIAL_FILE
    Example: AWS_CREDENTIAL_PROFILES_FILE= C:\Users\Administrator\.aws\credentials
  3. Start the DataSynapse GridServer® NT service.
